About WA2HRF
Working closely with local Emergency Management Coordinators, we provide backup and auxiliary communications services and support to Walker County public safety agencies, emergency management operations, hospitals, shelters, and other critical infrastructure, using trained, volunteer, FCC-licensed radio operators who can quickly establish reliable communications using voice, digital, and HF/VHF/UHF systems, often under challenging conditions.
